While people round the world are chatting on their iPhones, workers in China are laboring to make that happen.

Are they being treated fairly? China Labor Watch is skeptical.  Although Apple claims that “all workers are being compensated appropriately,” and that there is “no evidence of forced labor,” iPhone manufacturer Foxconn admits that there are “some workforce complicance issues.”

Chinese commenters on social media have expressed dissatisfaction with their nation’s labor law, calling it “a joke.”
