But what kind of milk?
Straight from the breast is often preferred. Cow’s milk, aside from allergies, is also. Milk from other animals may also suffice.
But what about the many plant-based varieties?
Labels should be carefully read. Some vegetarian milks are “lower in protein and calcium,” but higher in sweeteners.
Fortified soy milk may be reasonably safe. Allergies must again be considered. It's best to consult with nutritional experts regarding these choices.
