He Ain't Heavy

Mount Timpanogos    (Photo by a4gpa)
Many versions of retirement consist of sipping margaritas alongside the ocean.

The United States Marines version can be quite different.  Two retired Marines recently climbed Utah’s Mount Timpanogos - one carrying his 135-pound, double-amputee brother in arms all the way up.

“Leave no man behind” has long been a Marines motto.  According to fellow hiker Phil Casper, this was faithfully adhered to.  Civilian Casper was in awe, having just struggled with carrying less than five pounds up the very same mountain.
