Cherish that Note

RAAF Aircraftswoman Safety Demo    (US Air Force photo)
You’re wedged into an airplane seat, trying to understand all that the flight attendant is explaining.  This is tough enough when you can hear every word. Imagine trying to figure it all out while deaf.

A Delta attendant named Janna took that into consideration when 16-year-old Ashley came on board.  Ashley is deaf, and was “flying alone for the first time.”  Janna therefore took the time to gift Ashley with a handwritten note.

The note not only included safety instructions, but also emphasized the following: Please don’t hesitate to ask if you need any assistance.  Ashley now cherishes that note and keeps it with her as a reminder of human kindness.
