Sluggish Trains

When you come right down to it, it’s the little things that can make or break a situation.

This was certainly the case in Japan recently.  After a slug infiltrated an electrical device, the rail system suffered a massive power failure.  Numerous train trips were canceled, and “other services” were delayed.

Although all this occurred in May, it took weeks to find the cause. The impaired device was eventually discovered, along with a burnt slug within it.
