Robotic
fish, on the other fin, can only go where
their cumbersome batteries allow. But that may soon change.
Researchers
have developed a new type of
fluid
that some are calling “battery blood.” It
actually “stores energy,” allowing for more
than three times the number of swimming
hours before recharging is necessary.
This
could be a giant glide “towards creating
autonomous robots” - which sounds
good in theory, but may have ominous
implications.
Will autonomous robots rise up against humans someday? It wouldn’t
be the first time that created beings
rebel against their Creator.
