Elizabeth
Warren and Bernie Sanders
have both proposed forgiveness
of student-loan debts. Warren’s plan would “provide
substantial debt cancellation”
for those with relatively
low household incomes. Sanders’ plan would
forgive “all student debt.”
And
how would that “1.6 trillion”
gap be filled? Sanders proposed
“a tax on Wall Street,” designed
to “bring in more than $2
trillion over 10 years.”
