“Seek and ye shall find”
works best when you know where to
look. And NASA is finally figuring
that out.
Rather than randomly
beaming signals to God (only) knows
where, NASA has narrowed its
astrobiological search. It will now pinpoint those exoplanets
which seem most likely to harbor
intelligent life.
These worlds could be
emitting the "technosignatures" of advanced civilizations,
such as “city lights” and/or “swarms of satellites.” Some exist within habitable zones that even include “atmospheric
water vapor.”
