Earth's long lost twin?

WOW!!!      (Photo by Eric Rolph)

Somewhere way over the rainbow is a planet that “closely resembles” Earth.

This long-lost twin has been affectionately dubbed KOI-456.04, and orbits a faraway star called Kepler-160 (these astronomical names leave lots to the imagination).  KOI and Kep are a mere 3,000 light years from our piece of heaven.

We still don’t know whether KOI is graced with water.  If it is, then KOI is close enough to Kep for such water to be in liquid form.  This could mean that life as we sort of know it exists there.
