According to whom?

Judging people’s behaviors and judging people’s beings are two very different things.

Saying that behaviors are just no good is practical and defensible.  Saying that people are just no good is a whole other matter.

How can a person be judged in his or her entirety?  To call someone “no good” implies that there isn't a shred of hope for redemption.  And who but God can truly judge that?

So Joe Biden might end up having to retract his pronouncement that more than 10 percent of Americans “are just not very good people.”  After all, some of history’s greatest sinners turned out to be some of history’s greatest saints.
