Jim Bakker is at it
again, only this time he’s claiming to heal
bodies rather than souls.
Arkansas is now the
second state to sue Bakker for
consumer fraud. He’s been selling oodles
of colloidal
silver, allegedly preying
upon people’s fears of COVID-19.
Arkansas Attorney
General Leslie Rutledge accused Bakker
of exploiting 385 people who
collectively purchased “approximately $60,524”
of this product from him. She emphasized that “her case was about consumer
fraud, not freedom of religion.”
