One five-year-old boy
recently took this literally. When Cooper Wallweber heard about the shooting of a
volunteer firefighter, he wanted to help. Cooper therefore began making lemonade.
This fundraising effort
caught on quickly. Cooper’s stand brought
in the first $1,132. Online donations added another $2,000.
Cooper and “his adult
sister Olivia” will soon be handing over
this money to the mother of firefighter
Arlydia Bufford. Bufford is currently “in
critical but stable condition” from the shooting.
