Schott Down

Although Marge Schott was a key philanthropist for Cincinnati, Ohio, her legacy is tainted by racism.

The latter is why her name is now being removed from the University of Cincinnati’s library archive and baseball stadium.  No amount of money can atone for her praise of Hitler and her bigoted condemnation of various groups.

Almost 10,000 people signed a petition for this removal to occur.  The petition was begun by Jordan Ramey, a Black “former UC baseball player” whose father had first told him about Schott’s blatant racism.
