Michelle Brenner chose
another path, a much more nourishing
one. She put her “two little hands”
to work, dishing out “1,200 pans” of her homemade lasagna.
As people got wind of this
bounty, they began showing up at Brenner’s
door. They did not leave
empty-handed, nor
did they end up
empty-bellied.
Brenner’s “first 60
giveaways” were funded with her $1200
stimulus check. A Facebook fundraiser
plus doorstep donations filled in the
rest. With the $22,000 that came her
way, Brenner intends to be
distributing these pans “of love… for many
months to come.”
