Rover's Repertoire

Next time Rover gazes your way with those big old eyes, look out.  He might be more manipulative than genuine.

In other words, you control his world.  To get what he wants, he must therefore control you.  And he’s cleverly learned how to do this through facial expressions.  The cuter the better.

Now this doesn’t mean that Rover cares little about you. It simply means that he cares for himself even more.  Perhaps he’s learned such behaviors from many a human along the way…
