Ever notice how the solution to one problem often causes another?
In South Korea, robot baristas are being rolled out.
They not only make 60 varieties of coffee, but also serve them up to thirsty customers. Robots don’t
catch COVID and rarely transmit it.
But they might start to fill the jobs that many humans rely upon. Countless college students, single parents and aspiring entertainers have kept themselves going by waiting on tables.
The widespread use of robots could make life easier for some,
but way harder for others.
