So how much work is enough, and how much is too much?
Those feeling job fatigue will be delighted to know the
results of a University of Cambridge study. Researchers there found that, for mental-health purposes, eight hours per week is an “effective
dose.”
If we can figure out ways for shorter work weeks to be economically viable (which we may soon have to, due to job losses), we may then have a healthier and happier society.
More time could be spent with families, friends, just causes and holistic pursuits.
