Mama Bear

Thanks, Mama!   (Fair Use)

There’s no mama like a mama bear, especially on Mother’s Day.

And there’s no mama bear like the one that was spotted today. Her three cubs had somehow gone astray, and she was determined to bring them back alive.  A water rescue seemed most plausible, so she coaxed each one into South Lake Tahoe, then swam them back to home base.

This was all captured on video by firefighters who were called to the scene.  Their help turned out to be unnecessary because Mama Bear had it all under control.
