If an American has been arrested in Singapore for leaving his hotel room during a mandatory COVID-19 quarantine in order to purchase medical supplies, what’s next?
This quarantine was imposed because the pilot had recently been to infected nations such as the United States. Could this
mean that people within the United States will soon be arrested for leaving their residences during a coronavirus quarantine?
Such a notion would have seemed unlikely just a short time ago. But the times they are a rapidly changing, as are likelihoods. Citizens
beware! Civil liberties are swiftly becoming endangered species.
