When
researchers from Indiana University
analyzed “the link between
strength, muscle mass, and
mortality,” they found that those
with low muscle strength had
a significantly greater risk of
death, especially death from cancer.
If
you’ve been a couch potato, proceed
with caution. Injuries and
worse could occur if aerobic “pace
and volume” is increased “too
suddenly.”
