Too Many Minerals

Ground beef is sometimes praised for its mineral content.  Sometimes, however, it contains far too much.

Bits of metal were recently found within raw ground beef from Ada Valley Gourmet Foods, Inc.  Although packages of the company’s uncooked meatloaf had been shipped to hospitals, there have thus far been “no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption.”

Nevertheless, Ada Valley has recalled “nearly 3,500 pounds” of this premixed product.
