Although
we usually measure this in
dollars, trees might be more on
the mark. Scientists are now figuring
that the global planting of
a trillion trees might offset climate
crises.
Researchers
have calculated that such an endeavor could absorb nearly
one-quarter of the carbon dioxide
in our current atmosphere. This
could remove a majority of the
CO2 from “human activities since
the start of the industrial revolution.”
