Thinking Green

Comparing the worldwide pandemic to a worldwide climate crisis isn’t that much of a stretch.  Either one could set the entire planet into a tailspin.

Top German companies, such    as Bayer and Salzgitter, are therefore urging that COVID-19 governmental aid “be tied to climate action.”  Some manufacturers have been trying to relegate environmental concerns to “the backburner,” citing coronavirus challenges.

Linking the EU’s Green Deal directly to business incentives would transform it into a Smart Deal, according to Holger Loesch, Germany’s BDI spokesperson.
