Talk about pennies from Heaven…  Only this time, the source was of this world: our U. S. government.

When an Indiana firefighter recently checked his bank balance, the result seemed downright miraculous.  Lo and behold, the current total was $8.2 million!

Before rushing out to buy a mansion, this wise man checked with the bank.  By the time you could say “Hallelujah,” the fortune had mysteriously disappeared.  In its place was the expected $1700 stimulus payment.

Easy come, easy go.  Nevertheless, you never know.
