Parable of the Good Samaritan (Balthasar van Cortbemde) |
When a 25-year-old woman simply crossed the street, she was hit by an SUV that rolled onto her.
Her legs were then “pinned under the tires.”
Onlookers didn’t just stand there and gape. A group of
them rushed to the scene, collectively lifting the SUV off of her.
Although the woman suffered a concussion plus “heavy bruising,” no bones were broken. She had been saved in time by these Good Samaritans of New York City.
