Steamy Venus

When you’re as hot as Venus, you’ve got to let off some steam every once in a while.

Perhaps that is why there are active surface volcanos on the second rock from the sun.  Research data shows that lava continues to flow on this hellish planet.

Earth is the only other planet in our solar system that is known to have active surface volcanoes.  Scientists suspect that Mars might harbor such action beneath its polar ice cap.  If so, the ice could be melting into life-giving water.
