Caution: This practice evolves far more peacefully with sand dunes than it does with humans.

It turns out that sand dunes push each other around.  When one is moved by the forces of nature, it exerts pressure on another.  This type of a repelling “kick” causes dunes to head in opposite directions.

Just giving each other some space…  Call it Nature’s way of promoting a tranquil outcome.
