Neighbor to Neighbor

When most alarms sound, you’d better get going.  But when a defibrillator sounds, you’d better stop mowing.

The latter recently occurred while Bryan Palmer was tackling an overgrown lawn. When the defibrillator went off, he clutched at his chest and screamed for help.

His daughter came running and called 911.  Hutto, Texas paramedics and firefighters responded, and were soon on the scene.  Palmer then jokingly asked about how the lawn would get done.

After Palmer left for the hospital, the firefighters got to work.  Going “above and beyond” the call of duty, they soon had the lawn looking spiffy.
