You’ve heard of a ball hog? Well sometimes the hog is actually a pooch.  For real.

During a “professional Turkish soccer match,” a stray dog bounded onto the field.  Wanting to get in on the act, it ran for the ball.

Players struggled to divert the pup from this mission.  They threw the ball out of bounds, thinking that this would do the trick.

The dog, however, did one better.  It fetched the ball and came running back.  Midfielder Zeki Yildirim then fetched the pooch and carried it past a sturdy gate.
