In a Jiffy

Back when people were patient enough to sit through TV commercials, viewers would eagerly await the resurrection of their favorite soap-opera characters.  No one would blink an eye when Mr. or Ms. Soap Star would suddenly return from the dead.

These days, you don’t even have to wait for the program to resume.  Resurrection is as instant as “Baby Nut,” Mr. Peanut’s

successor.  No sooner had Peanut Senior skipped from this world than Baby Nut appeared.  The little darling made his debut during a Super Bowl 2020 commercial.
