Meandering to Success

Getting from point A to point B need not entail a straight and narrow path.  Sometimes it’s better to get off track, especially as something comes barreling down.

Madeline Levine has spent oodles of time interviewing successful adults.  She’s found that only 10 percent of them are “straight arrows,” whereas 90 percent have changed course time and again.  These changes have often involved risks and failures.

The journey, however, has been well worth it.  “Financial independence” is just one way of measuring success.  Lessons learned from meandering here and there can prove invaluable for creating a fulfilling and meaningful life.
