Someone who stole an Amazon package was brazen enough to leave a handwritten thank-you in its stead. This note expressed particular appreciation for “the opportunity of stealing your package.”
Let this serve as a warning: do not leave unattended packages within easy reach of thieves. Arrange for
delivery to a trusted person or place if you cannot be there yourself. When
opportunity knocks, make sure that friendly souls are answering the door.
