Many bear cash and credit, but relatively few bear gifts of actual gold. Fewer still drop glimmering gifts into Salvation Army buckets.
Yet one anonymous donor dropped two gold coins into a Tampa Red Kettle. These coins are from ancient times, which makes them all the more valuable.
The second coin had a note wrapped around it, praising the Salvation Army for its worthy community presence.
