In the Nick of Time

Imagine being on a passenger tram which suddenly speeds past one station after another without stopping as planned.

You might panic, which is just what people did.  Yet some sprang into action, smashing open the driver’s door, only to find him medically unresponsive.

When the emergency brake failed to stop the tram, some phoned the transport company.  Passengers were then instructed on how to halt the tram, which they successfully did.

Call it a Christmas miracle!  Even the driver is alive and recovering.
