Most any wife would admit that her husband is no saint, yet it takes courage to say that out loud when you’re Mrs. Fred Rogers.

At 91, Joanne Rogers is spunky and vibrant.  She’s a self-proclaimed “hugger,” with a habit of calling those she treasures “Honeybun” and “Dearie.”  Some of her texts include a Memoji with a gray moptop and a gap-toothed grin.

Joanne still lives in the same Pittsburgh apartment that she and Fred shared.  She drives about town in a Lexus and enjoys road trips.  As a “professional concert duo-pianist,” Mrs. Rogers is an accomplished entertainer in her own right.  And while wondering what exactly the Kardashians are famous for, Joanne greatly admires Lady Gaga.
