Stan Lee a Superhero with Fans

Stan Lee is such a superhero to his fans that criticism of him is met with disdain.

When Bill Maher dared to suggest that comic books are for kids, snide comments came thundering in.  One even proclaimed: Bill Maher is truly a piece of trash.

Perhaps Maher has a point.  Perhaps some fans do act as though “comic books were actually sophisticated literature.”  Perhaps Hamlet does have a bit more depth than Spider-Man.

As for Maher, he just “hasn’t responded yet.”  Too busy trashing Trump, it seems.
