Galactic Panspermia

Perhaps humans on Earth are the result of galactic panspermia.  In other words, life as   we know it may have “originated from microorganisms in outer space.”

These organisms may have hitched a ride on prevalent space objects such as asteroids and meteoroids.  They may have even been intentionally sent by alien civilizations.

Oumuamua, an artificial-looking interstellar object, has been found within our own solar system.  The Harvard Smithsonian Center has theorized that it could be a “light sail… debris from an advanced technological equipment.” Light sails enable objects to glide through space, empowered by solar radiation.
