Some 'jokes' just aren't funny

Before shouting the equivalent of “Fire!” in a crowded theater, ask yourself this:  Is it a joke if others are running for cover?

Probably not.  In fact, it may even be an illegal action.  Or at least one that will get you thrown out quickly.

So when Anthony Derlunas yelled “Heil Hitler!” during a performance of “Fiddler on the Roof” at Baltimore’s Hippodrome, he found himself “removed from the theater.”  Subsequent attempts by Derlunas to explain it away only made matters worse.

In some convoluted manner, Derlunas claimed to be staging an anti-Trump protest. This, however, was far from evident to the alarmed audience.  Some headed straight for the exits, no doubt recalling recent synagogue shootings.
