Snow Art has Heart

Simply angelic!    (Photo by Loadmaster)
Life seems fleeting at times, but there are some things that last and last.

Snow artist Jef Schobert knows this firsthand.  He began sculpting the white stuff when he was just a kid. Knowing that his grandfather loved frogs, Jef used green food coloring on his amphibious creations.

When Jef grew up, he joined the army and eventually became a disabled veteran.  Although in chronic pain, he still sculpts snow.  His creations now delight untold numbers of viewers, both in his local Wisconsin neighborhood and on his Facebook page.

The sculptures themselves will melt, as will the hearts that appreciate them.  Love lingers on, long after winter’s end.
