Artificial Moon Over Beijing

Forget “Moon Over Miami,” this one’s eight times brighter.  It will light up the streets of Beijing like nobody’s business.

The Chinese are developing “illumination satellites” that will “replace streetlamps and lower electricity costs in urban areas.”  These are being called “man-made moons” – how’s that for romantic imagery?

So get your smooching in while you can because said moons will be rolling out in 2020.  By 2022, they will be a fact of life, rendering other facts of life archaic.
