Turns out
that Custer had just served Mr. Beast
some water, and he had scooted out
of the restaurant after leaving her that
hefty tip with a napkin note. The note simply read: thanks
for the delicious water.
Mr. Beast is
“a YouTube star” who enjoys “blessing servers’ days.” Some of his associates at the next
table were filming Custer’s
surprised reaction.
Tempting as
it might have been to pocket
the entire tip, Custer instead
shared it with her own associates. She explained that “most of us
that work at Sup Dogs are
broke college kids.”
