Only as good as your latest mistake?

If the things we did and said were scrutinized as closely as those of many celebrities, would any of us be left standing?

All humans are a mixture of strengths and weaknesses, and all are subject to tripping over their own tongue.  Roseanne Barr had this point to make within a recent tweet:  One stupid joke in a lifetime of fighting 4 civil rights 4 all minorities, against networks, studios, at the expense of my nervous system/family/wealth will NEVER b taken from me.

Barr is refusing to let her collective good works be negated by her latest mistake.  She is refusing to let one lame joke break her spirit and reputation.  Those who prefer to point fingers might first want to point at the mirror.  Or at the dictionary.  To the definition of mercy.  Or compassion.  Or empathy.  Or forgiveness.

Or all of the above...
