Meet the Feet

Just as there have long been palm readers, there are now also foot readers.

Did you know that the neck of your big toe blushes?  Your  cheeks are turning red, so perhaps you didn’t.

Are your feet more pale than your calves?  If so, you might be suffering from exhaustion.  That callous on the ball of your foot could explain why.  It indicates that you’re carrying way too heavy a burden.

Jane Sheehan alleges that there are four distinct types of foot-related personalities:  Roman, Square, Greek and Egyptian.  The first three toes on Roman Feet are about equal in length, and the last two are shorter.  All toes on Square Feet are pretty much equal.  Greek Feet have “a second toe that extends beyond the first toe.”  Egyptian Feet have toes that get progressively shorter, beginning with the big toe.

Those with Roman Feet tend to be sociable and “great public speakers,” while those with Greek Feet tend to be athletic and impulsive.  “Squares” can be practical and caring, while “Egyptians” can be secretive and moody.
