This is
bound to increase pressure on many struggling
farmers, and is in direct response to American-imposed
tariffs on Mexican aluminum
and steel.
Representatives
for U. S. farmers have been speaking
out. Angela Hofmann of Farmers for
Free Trade recently declared: Farmers need certainty and open markets to make ends meet. Right now they are getting chaos and protectionism.
