Winded

Having the wind knocked out of you could be a problem.  Yet having the wind knocked around you could be exhilarating.

So much so that the Dutch have a special word for it: uitwaaien, loosely translated as “outblowing.”  In other words, spending time in windy natural environments can make one tingle from head to toe.  Think back to those moments when ocean breezes cleared your head of all worrisome thoughts.  Blew them right out the ears.

Nevertheless, a disclaimer is in order.  Too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.  Just ask anyone who has withstood the force of a coastal hurricane.
