Typical Eastern Rat Snake (Photo by John Mikesell) |
A snake with two heads is better off than a chicken without even one.
When such a slitherer turned up in her sunroom, Jeannie Wilson did what any decent homeowner would: posted a video of it to her Facebook page.
Suggestions began pouring forth. Since “Double Trouble” turned out to be a harmless rat snake, the vote was between turning it loose and finding it a nurturing home.
They say it’s tough for two-headed snakes to survive in the wild, so Double Trouble now blissfully resides at North Carolina’s Catawba Science Center. Feel free to visit. Wilson certainly intends to.
