Powerful Lift

We could all use a lift from time to time, but sometimes only a powerful one will do.

When power lifter Ryan Belcher “heard a loud crash,” he rushed outside to help.  A man was trapped beneath a Jeep Cherokee, and others had been unable to free him.  Belcher, however, had been trained in lifting heavy weights.

So he "jumped right in" and swung the two-ton vehicle away from the victim. This enabled the others to pull him out.  Although the man “suffered serious injuries,” he is now expected to recover.
