Nevertheless,
there could be a downside. When a “fat rat” recently tried to exit a
manhole cover’s bolthole, it got stuck
at the hips. To humanity’s credit, a
rescue team was sent to help the
struggling rodent.
Why rescue
an animal that is often exterminated? For that very reason! Compassion
can be extended to all of God’s
creatures.
