Neuralink will feature the latest cognitive fashion: neural
lace. This dainty item is “an implant or an appendage that would be attached to the brain.” Think
of this enhanced brain as a layer cake. On the
bottom you have the limbic system, in the middle the cortex, and on top the neural lace.
This top layer would allow the brain to interact directly with digital devices. Implanting it is a piece of cake. Extensive surgery would not be needed, as it can be “injected into the veins.”
