Two hours: Too much

Calderon in 2013   (Photo by Keith Allison)
While workers throughout the country are daring to hope for minimum (and minimal) pay hikes, some folks are beyond all that.  Way beyond.

Word is out that the Golden State Warriors will pay Jose Calderon $415,000 for the two (not a typo, that’s TWO) hours he spent as a formal team member.

True, it wasn’t Calderon’s fault that his contract suddenly ended – and true, it was chivalrous of the
Warriors to make good on their promise – yet one has to wonder whether that money should have gone elsewhere.

Not elsewhere into the pockets of big-league administrators, but elsewhere into the pockets of tattered coats and threadbare jeans.
